In the 'Mrs. Pune Festival' competition held at the 37th Pune Festival, Madhura Gondhalekar won the first prize in the 23 to 40 age group and Supriya Dhongde won the first prize in the 41 to 55 age group. Madhura Koshti and Sneha Kothari won the second and third prizes in the 23 to 40 age group and Poonam Kaur Adarsh and Suvarna Yewlekar won the second and third prizes in their groups respectively in the 41 to 55 age group . Sumedha Bhosale, Isha Hublikar, Sarika Seth and actor Abhyang Kuwalekar acted as judges. The program began with Ganesh Vandana by Archana Sapkal.
Mrs. Pune Festival - a beauty , personality, and intelligence competition for married women, was held at Balgandharva Rangmandir today. The competition was inaugurated by the chief organizer of Pune Fesitival, Adv. Abhay Chhajed and actor Abhyang Kuvalekar with the lighting of the lamp. Pune Festival Vice President Krishnakumar Goyal and actor Abhyang Kuvalekar presented the crowns to the winning women. Mohan Tillu, Atul Gonjari and Shrikant Kamble were present on the occasion. Trupti Rathod presented the program. A large crowd of women attended the program.
There were two age groups in this competition: 23 to 40 and 41 to 55 years. 200 More than 100 married women participated in it. From their first round, 12 women from each group were selected. It consisted of talent, self-introduction, and question and answer rounds. From this, one winner and two runners-up were selected from both the groups. Falguni Zende did the choreography.
Suraj Dance Academy (Retro Theme) performed dance in this program. The coordinator of this competition was Adv. Amruta Jagadhne. Supriya Tamhane and Archana Sonawane provided valuable assistance. All the contestants were given a 'Title Award'.
The competition gave married women a platform to showcase their confidence, talent, and personality. The audience welcomed the winners with thunderous applause.
